About the role
Brand StrategyLeadershipB2B SalesMarket ResearchFrenchGerman
We’re looking for a Director of Brand & Thought Leadership to build and govern the group´s brand architecture, spanning our portfolio brands Cookie Information, Piwik PRO and Sheltr, so that a distinctive, consistent brand drives reputation, thought leadership and commercial value across all markets.
Reporting to the CCO, you will play a key role in shaping how our brands are positioned, perceived and experienced. You will lead brand strategy, communications and thought leadership across the portfolio, influence commercial investment decisions, and build the team and capabilities needed to support our next stage of growth.
We are open to on-site, hybrid, and remote working within two time zones of our offices (CET).
In this role, please expect to travel up to 40% of the time.
About Us
Our group brings together three European software brands that help organisations earn and use data with trust: Cookie Information for consent management; Piwik PRO for privacy-by-design analytics and data activation; and Sheltr for reliably finding personal data in internal data sources.
Headquartered in Copenhagen with an office in Wrocław, our team of 180 people have been building trusted data solutions since 2011. We work with companies and marketing teams across various industries that take control of their data model, including some of the most data-sensitive clients in healthcare, finance, energy & utilities, and the public sector. We are proud that our clients rely on us to meet GDPR and EU data residency requirements across EMEA and the US, as this regulatory depth is hard to build and replicate. We believe compliance and performance are not opposites. Consented data, auditable analytics and full visibility of personal data belong to one data journey; together they form a foundation that marketing, IT, legal and the C-level can rely on.
Our journey is to move from a regulation-driven house of brands to one unified company with a clear point of view. We are creating a new category around this complete data journey, and together we are building an enterprise-ready, data-driven revenue engine led by thought leadership. Want to join us on this journey? Keep reading to find out how you can help shape this with us.
The Role
As Director, you will own the strategic direction of our brand portfolio, balancing a coherent group identity with distinct positioning for each product brand. You will connect brand strategy to commercial objectives, lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with senior leadership to build long-term brand value.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning and evolving a coherent brand strategy and architecture across all three brands, ensuring clear positioning, differentiation and consistent brand experiences.
- Connecting brand investments to business objectives, setting priorities and success measures, and informing strategic decisions alongside the CCO and CEO.
- Owning brand health tracking and the annual brand review, translating research and market insights into strategic recommendations.
- Leading the portfolio's PR, content, events, community and digital presence to strengthen market visibility, credibility and category leadership.
- Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team, align cross-functional stakeholders, and manage external agencies and strategic partners.
About you
You are an experienced brand leader who combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen and strong leadership skills. You know how to build distinctive brands, influence stakeholders and translate strategy into measurable business impact.
You bring:
- Significant experience in brand strategy, brand management, communications and PR leadership.
- A track record of leading brand transformation, repositioning or portfolio development.
- Experience leading hybrid-working teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strong commercial understanding and the ability to connect brand investment to business priorities.
- Experience using market research and brand health metrics to guide strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (C2).
Nice-to-haves:
- B2B SaaS, technology, data, privacy or analytics experience.
- Multi-brand portfolio, brand architecture or category creation experience.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Knowledge of GDPR and privacy-regulated markets.
- Fluency in German, French or a Nordic language.
What we offer
- A unique opportunity to shape a brand portfolio. Lead the development of a new umbrella brand alongside three established product brands.
- Build a team, shape our brand direction and make a lasting impact across the business.
- You’ll work closely with the CCO and CEO and influence strategic and commercial decisions.
- Help shape the story of privacy-first data and its role in the European market.
- Professional development budget, health insurance, and other benefits.
- A positive, informal workplace.
Application process
