Cleaner (Leeds, LS7) Location: Leeds, LS7 (NHS Building) Salary: £13.33 per hour Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent Pay Frequency: Monthly About the Role We are seeking reliable and thorough Cleaners to join our team maintaining a vital NHS building in the Leeds LS7 area. In this role, you will ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff and visitors. We have two permanent, part-time shift patterns available. Both options offer a total of 6 hours per week at an excellent hourly rate of £13.33. Available Shift Patterns Option 1: Weekday Mornings - Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday - Hours: 06:30 – 08:30 (2 hours per shift) - Total: 6 hours per week Option 2: Weekend Mornings - Days: Saturday and Sunday - Hours: 06:00 – 09:00 (3 hours per shift) - Total: 6 hours per week Key Responsibilities - Carry out general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying bins. - Clean and sanitize touchpoints, offices, corridors, and communal facilities. - Ensure all cleaning is completed to high NHS hygiene and safety standards. - Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment (COSHH). - Report any maintenance issues or stock shortages to the supervisor. Requirements - Strong reliability and excellent punctuality for early morning starts. - A high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently. - Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. - Successful candidates will be subject to standard NHS background checks.
