About the Team
The European Order Operations team owns the end-to-end quote-to-cash transaction process and serves as the main operational partner for Retail and Corporate Sales teams on order-related matters. The team connects Sales, Delivery, Logistics, Service, Production Control, IT, Finance, Tax, and Accounting to maintain accurate orders and enable timely deliveries. It combines hands-on daily execution with structured performance management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. The team’s impact is visible in orderbook accuracy, delivery readiness, revenue recognition support, and a reliable experience for internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
The Order Operations Specialist is an individual contributor role reporting to the Supervisor, Order Operations and supporting the execution of Lucid’s European order-to-delivery operations. This role ensures that customers and vehicle orders move accurately and efficiently through the transaction lifecycle, while providing Sales and Delivery teams with reliable operational support. You will take ownership of day-to-day order execution, proactively resolve transactional issues, maintain accurate data across systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure that vehicles, invoices, payments, and customer documentation are ready for delivery. Success will be demonstrated through accurate orderbook data, timely issue resolution, clear stakeholder communication, and improved operational consistency. Unlike a traditional order management position, this role provides direct exposure to the development and scaling of European automotive order operations, with opportunities to influence workflows, systems, and new purchase scenarios as the business grows.
What You Own
- Order Execution: Own the accurate processing and maintenance of customer and vehicle orders from order placement through delivery, ensuring that required changes are completed correctly and on time.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve transactional issues involving order configurations, pricing, discounts, vehicle assignments, invoices, payments, and refunds, coordinating the appropriate actions across teams and systems.
- Delivery Readiness: Partner with Sales, Delivery, Logistics, Service, and other operational teams to identify and resolve order-related blockers so that vehicles and customer documentation are ready for the planned handover.
- Orderbook Accuracy: Maintain accurate and consistent order, customer, vehicle, pricing, and payment data across the orderbook and connected systems, proactively addressing discrepancies that could affect fulfilment, invoicing, or reporting.
- Vehicle Allocation: Manage vehicle allocation, release, and inventory visibility to support accurate vehicle availability and ensure that orders are matched to the correct vehicles.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary operational contact for quote- and order-related enquiries and escalations, providing clear and proactive updates on order status, fulfilment, invoicing, vehicle readiness, and delivery.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement scalable processes, documentation, training materials, system enhancements, and automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze recurring errors, process gaps, system limitations, and operational risks to identify root causes, proactively raise improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to independently manage priorities, drive issues to resolution, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactional workflows, investigate discrepancies to determine root causes, identify recurring issues, prioritize competing requirements, and maintain a high degree of accuracy across multiple systems.
