2nd Shift Heat Treat Operator

Heat Treat Operator 2nd Shift   Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC, a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking a 2nd shift Heat Treat Operator to assist with heat treating functions within our Heat Treat Department. Those functions include straightening, shank draw, surface treat, brushing, drilling. packing, hardness testing, operation of fully automated Heat Treat line and preventative maintenance. Job duties will include but are not limited to:   - Packing jobs in the most efficient way to be entered into the Automatic Heat Treat line based on hardness and steel type as well as diameter. Jobs will need to be prioritized based on quoted customer delivery dates.   - Operate shank draw machine, surface treat equipment and other duties as assigned that may or may not be directly related to Heat Treat.   - Heat Treat operators should have basic knowledge of computers.   - Verification that the product is Heat Treated to specification depicted on drawings.   - Perform preventative maintenance on all Heat Treating equipment and communicate with Supervisor any problems that may occur with equipment.   - Lifting at least 50 lbs.   Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC 200 Front Street Millersburg, PA 17061 www.heritagecutter.com   EOE
