Fractional Head of Technology

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fractional Head of Technology based in the United States. This executive-level contract role offers an opportunity to transform technology into a strategic business advantage within a growing solar supply chain and distribution environment. You will assess existing systems, teams, processes, and AI opportunities, then develop and execute a practical technology roadmap focused on efficiency, customer experience, and business growth. Working closely with executive leadership and the finance and operations teams, you will oversee technology priorities, external providers, budgets, and measurable outcomes. The initial 90-day engagement emphasizes targeted improvements to CRM adoption, workflow automation, data quality, and AI-enabled operational processes. You will combine hands-on technical problem-solving with strategic leadership, delegating implementation where appropriate and ensuring solutions deliver lasting business value. This remote, part-time engagement is expected to require approximately three days per week, with occasional travel and the potential for further collaboration based on results and business needs.
