Lighting & AV Systems Designer (CAD, DMX, Pixel)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lighting & AV Systems Designer (CAD, DMX, Pixel) based in Canada. We are seeking a hands-on Lighting and AV Systems Designer to create accurate technical documentation for architectural lighting, signage, and entertainment projects across North America. In this role, you will transform design markups into complete installation-ready drawing packages, detailed wiring diagrams, and costed bills of materials. You will work closely with the design lead while taking ownership of technical deliverables from initial documentation through installation support. Beyond drafting, you will troubleshoot real-world challenges involving low-voltage systems, LED pixel data, DMX addressing, and controller configuration. Approximately 40% of your time will be dedicated to supporting installers by phone and turning recurring technical questions into practical documentation.
