Director, Engineering - Marketplace & Dev Ecosystem

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Engineering – Marketplace & Dev Ecosystem based in India. This is a senior engineering leadership opportunity for an experienced technology leader to shape the future of a large-scale marketplace and developer ecosystem within a global, remote-first SaaS environment. You will define the engineering vision for public APIs, third-party integrations, developer tools, monetization infrastructure, and the app marketplace. The role combines strategic planning, architectural leadership, and people management to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable platform capabilities. You will lead multiple engineering teams, mentor managers and senior technical contributors, and establish a culture of accountability and technical excellence. Working closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help expand partner capabilities, improve the developer experience, and unlock new revenue opportunities. Your work will directly influence how external developers and businesses build, integrate, and grow on a platform serving a global customer base.
