Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents in the successful execution of commercial construction projects.
- Assist with day-to-day project coordination, administrative tasks, and construction management activities.
- Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track action items and follow-up tasks.
- Support the preparation and management of RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and project documentation.
- Maintain project files, reports, drawings, specifications, and other project records within company management systems.
- Conduct site visits to observe construction progress, document field conditions, and gain exposure to active project operations.
- Assist in coordinating subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and project logistics.
- Support project teams with schedule updates, procurement tracking, cost reporting, and project closeout activities.
- Learn industry best practices related to safety, quality control, project controls, and contract administration.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned while contributing to overall project success.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or a related field.
- Strong interest in commercial construction, project management, and field operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is a plus.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.
