About the role

B2B SalesSQLProduct ManagementUI Design
ABOUT PEARLY Pearly is a high-growth B2B SaaS and payments company at a critical inflection point. With deep product-market fit and over 3,000 dental offices across DSOs, groups, and private practices on the platform, we're now looking for builders to help shepherd the next stage of growth. Because we're lean, you won't be inheriting legacy process or systems debt. You'll be building from a clean slate: leveraging process, technology, and AI in smart, creative ways to accelerate growth and productivity across dental billing, payments, and engagement. We are a team of high-talent, high-integrity people who genuinely enjoy the art of building and competing; honing our craft and getting better each day, both as individuals and as a team. We care deeply about good outcomes, but just as much about how we get there with smart, passionate people who hold each other to a high standard, move fast, and take pride in the work. That's what makes Pearly feel different. The caliber of the people and the intentionality behind how we operate.   THE ROLE You'll own Practice Experience: the app the practice team works in every day, the workflows inside it, and the experience around it from onboarding to daily use. Your users are the people responsible for a practice's financial performance, some living in Pearly for hours a day working a queue of accounts, others, like an owner or a CFO, checking in weekly and needing to know where things stand without digging. And it isn't one customer. It's the single-location office running its own billing, the group or DSO standardizing across dozens of locations, and the outsourced billing company working on behalf of hundreds. You own that arc for all of them without building three versions of the product. The problems are concrete. A new customer should get live and start collecting in days, not weeks. An RCM manager should be able to set up a payment plan in under a minute without calling support. A balance sitting 60 days past due shouldn't wait for a person to decide to chase it. And a DSO rolling out location 41 shouldn't need the hand-holding location 1 did. Some of those are workflow problems, some are product we haven't built, and some are automation that should have replaced the work entirely. All of them compound directly into collections. Part of your roadmap exists to win customers and part exists to keep them, and you should know which is which. The metrics you'll answer for are listed below. Senior here means you own it end to end, from discovery through release, without day-to-day direction. The lines around your area are thin on purpose. With a lean product bench, breadth matters, and you'll own features that reach into Payments, Onboarding, and Integrations.   WHAT YOU'LL OWN Getting Live and Getting Unstuck. Onboarding and support are product surfaces, not someone else's problem. Own what gets configured versus defaulted, how fast a new customer connects their PMS and reaches value, and the in-product guidance that replaces a training call. Own what staff see when a sync breaks or the data looks wrong, and treat recurring support volume as a product signal to remove the cause. The Daily Workflow, and Automating It Away. How staff find an account, understand a balance, decide what needs attention today, take action, and trust what they see. The job underneath it is chasing money that's owed across thousands of accounts, usually while the phone is ringing. Make that work faster where a person has to do it, and build the automation and the new products that mean they don't. One Product, Several Operating Models. A single office, a group standardizing across locations, a DSO with centralized RCM, and an outsourced billing company all need different permissions, reporting, and defaults. Own what generalizes, what stays configurable, and what we decline to build. Discovery, Craft & Adoption. Run discovery with the people doing the work and the people answering for the numbers. Sit in enough deals to know which gaps are costing us wins. Own the workflow design, pressure-test the build before it ships, and drive adoption with Sales, CS, and Implementation after it does.   WHAT YOU'LL BE MEASURED ON Our growth flywheel is simple: land new DSOs and practices, get them quick ROI and expand offices inside them, deepen the ROI of what they already run, then sell more products with high ROI and fast outcomes. This role drives four turns of that wheel. Landing new DSOs and practices (MRR). The product gaps that decide acquiring new DSOs and practices, and the permissions, reporting, and multi-location behavior that make us credible with a DSO. Measured by new offices landed and billed, and by the deals where product was the deciding factor. Quick ROI and expanding offices. Time to value is the quickest win in dental and it's yours: days from contract to live and to first dollar collected, pilot-to-billed conversion, offices taken live per implementation person, and how fast a group gets from pilot to full rollout. Deepening ROI on existing products (NRR). Whether a practice is genuinely using what they bought 60 days in, days of sales outstanding, gross payment volume, cost per dollar collected, and the share of repeatable work running without staff touch. You own the diagnosis here, working with the analytics PM and Sales to separate what's working from what isn't and turn it into what we build next. Building products with high ROI. MRR per office, and whether the products you ship are ones practices and DSOs actually buy and adopt rather than ones that demo well.   WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 7+ years in product management owning a customer-facing app, workflow, or experience product, ideally at a high-growth B2B SaaS company. - An outcome-first track record. This is the thing we'll dig into hardest. Come ready to walk through a few examples end to end: the metric you owned, where it started, the calls you made and the ones you passed on, and where it landed. We're less interested in the roadmap you ran than in what it changed for the customer and the business. - Real workflow craft for a professional user. You've built for someone whose job depends on getting through a queue of work, at both single-site and enterprise scale, and you have a point of view on permissions and configurability without letting the product fragment. - Ownership past the UI. You've treated onboarding, activation, and support as product surfaces, and you've turned a feature nobody used into one people rely on. - Commercial instinct. You've been close enough to deals to know which product gaps actually lose them, and you can tell the difference between something that wins a demo and something that keeps a customer two years in. - Technical fluency, tilted toward workflow. Practice data reaches us through direct integrations in real time and through syncs that refresh overnight, and that shapes what's buildable. You reason comfortably about data models and those tradeoffs, and can answer your own questions in SQL. You don't need to be the deepest technical PM in the room, but enough depth to call what's feasible and when.   BONUS POINTS - Experience in dental, healthcare, RCM, or similar. - Background in payments, billing, or consumer checkout experiences. - Experience with multi-location, multi-tenant, or agency-style customers where one org administers many accounts. - Experience building the surface on top of someone else's models or intelligence layer, with a real point of view on where autonomy is safe and where the human stays in the loop.   WHY JOIN PEARLY - Founding ownership. You'll define the data and analytics product strategy at Pearly. Your work shapes both what customers see and what they'll pay for. - Meaningful market. Dental practices are underserved by modern software, and almost no one is giving them real financial intelligence. You'll help change that. - Real product-market fit. You're not manufacturing demand for something unproven. You're scaling a product customers already love and building the intelligence layer they're asking for. - Direct exec visibility. You'll work closely with executive leadership, with a real seat in strategic conversations. - Competitive compensation. $160,000 - $180,000 salary plus equity and healthcare benefits. - Collaborative team. Small, focused, driven, and genuinely fun to build with.
