About the role
Patient Care
Provide pediatric care in a military healthcare environment where your clinical judgment supports patients from infancy through young adulthood.
At International SOS Government Medical Services, you'll support healthcare programs that improve patient care and operational readiness across the U.S. and internationally. Founded in 1984, International SOS operates in more than 90 countries, delivering healthcare, medical assistance, emergency response, and workforce support services worldwide.
As a Pediatrician, you’ll provide preventive, acute, and ongoing care for newborns, children, adolescents, and young adults at clinics in the Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk area. Your work will span routine examinations, immunizations, and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. You’ll also help guide other healthcare professionals and pediatric residents in delivering care.
Compensation and professional development: $135.00–$145.00 per hour, plus a $300 incentive for each weekend shift worked or a $400 incentive for each federal holiday shift worked. A minimum of six hours worked is required to qualify for either incentive. Annual CEU reimbursement of $1,000 is available.
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
