Based out of the Rancho Cucamonga office, you'll provide field service at customer locations, working with experienced refrigeration professionals while continuing to strengthen your technical skills. What You'll Do - Perform industrial refrigeration field service at customer locations, working from the Rancho Cucamonga, California office. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial and heavy commercial refrigeration systems. - Service and repair reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors, including compressor rebuilds, shaft seal replacements, and hot and cold compressor and motor alignments. - Troubleshoot refrigeration systems using electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic testing equipment. - Install expansion valves, control valves, electrical wiring, connections, and related refrigeration components. - Use oxy-acetylene equipment for refrigeration repairs and installations, and test refrigeration lines, connections, and components for leaks. - Perform startup and commissioning on ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems. - Diagnose computerized refrigeration controls, PLCs, microprocessors, and control panels. - Deliver professional customer service, maintain strong customer relationships, gather project details, and assist with customer proposals. - Complete accurate work orders, timecards, and required documentation on schedule using SimPRO. - Maintain organized truck inventory, keep equipment ready for field service, and generate purchase orders for truck stock and job materials. - Follow EPA regulations and maintain required certifications. - Perform assigned work independently while coordinating with customers, vendors, and team members. - Participate in overtime, on-call rotations, and flexible scheduling based on customer needs.
