ABOUT THE ROLE
As the first Account Executive at an early-stage AI/ML company, you will build the sales motion from the ground up. You will own revenue generation from pipeline creation through closing, working directly with the founder to move from founder-led sales to a repeatable process.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold outreach, without SDR support or relying on inbound leads.
- Reach prospective customers and lead substantive sales conversations.
- Manage deals end to end, from discovery through negotiation and contract signature.
- Partner with the founder to define the ideal customer profile, messaging, and sales playbook.
- Close revenue and establish a foundation for a scalable sales process.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least one year of experience in account executive, sales development, or enterprise sales roles.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of generating and managing outbound pipeline and closing deals independently.
- Experience owning the full sales cycle and being accountable for revenue targets.
- Ability to develop sales messaging, positioning, or value propositions and identify target customer segments.
- Comfort working in an early-stage or founder-led environment, with strong ownership and initiative.
- Experience selling to technical or product-focused buyers is helpful, as is background in AI, machine learning, or developer tools.
- US work authorization is required. The company does not provide visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $80,000 to $120,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
