Patient Access Representative

North Shore Health is a 16 bed critical care hospital with a 37 bed long term care facility attached. North Shore Health is seeking a Full Time Patient Access Representative for 72 hours per pay period. This position welcomes and greets patients and visitors to our facility in a manner that aligns with our Mission, Vision and Values, collects and processes co-payments, obtains insurance and demographic information from patients along with acquiring pre-certifications on inpatient, swing bed and outpatient services. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal. Patient Access Representatives must maintain a professional and positive demeanor and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
