Confirmed Backend Engineer - Train

Your Mission We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Train Supply team. The mission is to scale the current BlaBlaCar train distribution in Europe  supporting the expansion of the train supply to new markets and countries. As a backend developer you will work on technical challenges and product feature development from early-stage conception, to development, testing strategy, deployment, and monitoring of new releases. BlaBlaCar’s Train GDS stack is a scalable micro service architecture in spring boot 3 started in 2022. It uses REST API to communicate with other backends services in BlaBlaCar and with the suppliers.  You will be reporting to Solene, the Engineering Manager of the team, and working with a team of 3 other backend engineers. You will collaborate closely with several engineering teams, data, QA product managers and business developers to build robust and scalable features.
