- Analyze requirements and system behavior to identify edge cases, failure scenarios, test coverage gaps, and quality risks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, scalable, and repeatable quality gates.
- Investigate test failures, troubleshoot automation issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.
- Review automation code, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, testability, maintainability, and release readiness.
- Drive improvements in automation coverage, execution efficiency, test reliability, and overall quality metrics.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and share technical knowledge, tools, and best practices across the team.
Have you got what it takes?
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation, software quality engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Java with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Gradle, or other Java-based testing frameworks and build tools.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience with Checkly for synthetic monitoring, automated API validation, and production health verification.
- Experience improving test reliability, reducing flaky tests, and optimizing automation execution times.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, containerized applications, and microservices-based architectures.
