About the role

NursingHIPAASpanish
Company Description Hyperbaric Medical Solutions (HMS) is a physician-led, free-standing provider of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and regenerative care, and a growing network of clinics, with current locations in Manhattan, NY, Woodbury, NY, Miami, FL, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Randolph, MA. Care at HMS begins with a comprehensive evaluation rather than a single therapy. Personalized plans blend HBOT into metabolic and integrative health, IV therapy, PRP, and longevity medicine. Our Metabolic Health Program, based in Woodbury, uses extensive diagnostics and a terrain-based approach to support patients facing chronic illness and early-stage cancer — people whose care often extends well beyond a single course of treatment. As a free-standing clinic rather than a hospital department, we can expand the application of these therapies to help many more people. This is an emerging area of medicine that is delivering meaningful results to patients every day. HMS is seeking a Clinical Nurse Advocate (RN) for its Woodbury, NY office — a hybrid role that pairs hands-on clinical care with the clinical-administrative work that keeps each patient's plan moving. Job Description Reporting to the President & Managing Partner, and clinically to the National Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner, the Clinical Nurse Advocate focuses on our Metabolic Health Program — from a patient's first discovery call through consultation and course of care — while supporting HMS wherever the practice needs it. You'll partner with our Patient Advocate & Experience Manager: they own the non-clinical side of the patient journey; you own the clinical side. We'll train you in depth in our metabolic health approach. What we can't train is curiosity and initiative. Candidate Responsibilities and Expectations: - Provide concierge-level, hands-on care, including program IV therapies, blood-draws, taking vitals, urinalysis, specimen collection, and procedure support; monitor patients and escalate to the physician or nurse practitioner as needed - Prepare treatment rooms, maintain clinical supplies, and keep timely, accurate documentation - Once trained, lead discovery calls with prospective patients; prepare each new patient's chart for provider review — intake forms, questionnaires, outside records, and pre-consult labs - Deliver therapy and equipment orientations at new patient consultations, then launch each patient's plan with the Patient Advocate & Experience Manager — preparation, what to expect, and home protocols - Serve as the clinical point of contact between visits — track labs, re-assessments, and plan changes; flag adherence concerns - Represent our programs clinically to patients, families, and referring providers, including records and clinical updates; review patient materials for clinical accuracy - Participate in HMS's quality committee, accreditation readiness, and clinical policies and procedures across offices - Become expert in our metabolic health approach, including the Metabolic Approach to Cancer (MATC), and other HMS programs - Maintain strict HIPAA compliance Qualifications: - Active New York State RN license in good standing; CNS welcome - 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse - Excellent IV skills, including starts and first-dose administration - Administrative experience and interest - A self-starter: curious, an avid learner, and an initiator - A cheerful disposition - Strong interest in metabolic health; no hyperbaric experience required - Excellent communication, including patient and family teaching - Computer proficiency across multiple systems, including EHRs - A plus: metabolic, functional, or integrative health experience; MTIH Terrain Advocate or MATC training; fluency in Spanish Position Details - Position: Full-Time (Part-Time considered) - Location: Woodbury, NY - Hours: Monday – Friday / 8am – 4:30pm (may vary based on schedule and need) - Rate: $43 – $50 per hour - Available Benefits available to Full-Time employees: - Paid Time Off: 26 Days, including closed holidays (first year may be prorated) - Medical, Dental, Vision - 401(k) with company Safe Harbor match - Basic Life & AD&D - Flexible Spending Account (FSA) - STD/LTD - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Continuing Education (CME) Allowance - Commuter Benefits - Discount Marketplace - Voluntary supplemental coverage (Aflac)
