Staff Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer based in India. This is a senior technical leadership role focused on building scalable, reliable, and high-quality software systems in a cloud-native SaaS environment. You will contribute across the full application lifecycle, from architecture and design through development, deployment, monitoring, and production support. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, code and design reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards. You will work across backend and frontend technologies, with a strong emphasis on C#, modern JavaScript frameworks, APIs, databases, testing, and cloud infrastructure. You will also help drive an API-first approach and improve system performance, observability, and resilience. The position offers the opportunity to influence strategic product decisions while collaborating closely with engineering, product, design, and other cross-functional teams.
