Sr. Data Engineer, Financial Systems

This role supports the development, maintenance, and optimization of financial applications and the data interfaces that connect them. You will translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions while contributing to application support, data engineering, and system improvements. The position combines SQL development, data integration, production support, performance optimization, and financial systems expertise. You will collaborate closely with technical leads, architects, Finance business teams, IT groups, cybersecurity, audit, and other stakeholders. The role also involves working within Agile practices, development standards, change controls, and software lifecycle processes. You will troubleshoot complex production issues, improve system performance, and contribute to both incremental fixes and broader architectural enhancements.
