Sr. AI Governance Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. AI Governance Architect based in the United States. This senior, client-facing role leads enterprise AI, agent, data, and platform governance across the Microsoft ecosystem. You will design governance operating models that allow organizations to scale AI safely while maintaining security, compliance, and accountability. The position combines strategic architecture with hands-on implementation across Copilot Studio, Agent 365, Microsoft Purview, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure. You will guide complex client engagements, influence executive stakeholders, and help establish AI Centers of Excellence and governance councils. The role also includes mentoring consultants, shaping project scope, and developing reusable governance frameworks and accelerators. This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals working across the United States or Canada, with reliable overlap for Eastern and Central business hours.
