Software Engineer (Senior/Staff)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer (Senior/Staff) based in the United States. This is a senior-level full-stack engineering opportunity focused on building and evolving the core systems that power a high-scale technology business. You’ll work across critical backend services, customer-facing applications, internal systems, and new product initiatives where reliability and scalability are essential. The role offers broad technical ownership, from researching and defining problems through architecture, implementation, production support, and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and other cross-functional teams while helping shape technical practices and engineering standards. The position is designed for an experienced engineer who can simplify complex problems, move efficiently, and deliver durable solutions across multiple technical domains. You’ll contribute to both established systems and greenfield initiatives, with meaningful influence over architecture, engineering practices, and product outcomes. Depending on experience and organizational impact, the role may be leveled at Engineer V (Senior–Staff) or Engineer VI (Staff–Principal).
