PV Field Testing Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PV Field Testing Engineer based in United States. This is a remote, field-based engineering opportunity supporting utility-scale and commercial solar photovoltaic projects across the United States. The role focuses on onsite PV testing, inspections, audits, commissioning verification, and technical troubleshooting. You will analyze field data and contribute to clear, accurate technical reporting that supports project quality and performance. The position involves close collaboration with clients, site representatives, colleagues, and other technical professionals. You will also visit PV manufacturing facilities to support quality-control audits and assess equipment and processes. Success requires strong technical judgment, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in demanding field environments. Frequent travel is integral to the position, with time away from home potentially reaching approximately 80% of the working schedule.
