Project Electrical Design Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Electrical Design Engineer based in the United States. This is a ground-floor opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to take ownership of building electrical design projects across New England. You’ll work directly with a Founder and Principal Engineer in a small, fast-moving environment with minimal management layers. The role covers renovation and new-construction projects across multifamily, commercial, and historic adaptive-reuse properties. You’ll lead designs spanning power distribution, lighting and controls, fire alarm, emergency power, and low-voltage systems. The position offers significant autonomy, direct client and project exposure, and the opportunity to influence how a growing engineering practice operates. It is fully remote and open to candidates nationwide, with a preference for Massachusetts or Rhode Island.
