Junior Legal Counsel, AI & GDPR

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel, AI & GDPR based in Italy. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data protection, artificial intelligence, and international business operations. You will support a global privacy and AI governance program, helping translate complex regulations into practical, business-focused guidance. Your work will span GDPR operations, contractual privacy matters, data subject requests, and emerging AI regulation. You will collaborate closely with legal colleagues and specialized teams across a distributed, international organization. The role combines independent ownership with frequent cross-functional collaboration and exposure to diverse legal and regulatory questions. You will monitor developments such as the EU AI Act, EDPB guidance, GDPR case law, and national privacy requirements.
