Engineering Manager - Foundations & Enablement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engineering Manager - Foundations & Enablement based in Netherlands. This remote leadership role offers the opportunity to lead a cross-functional engineering team responsible for the foundations that enable other teams to move quickly, securely, and consistently. You will own the team’s people development, performance, delivery, and technical roadmap while balancing requests from multiple product teams. The role spans developer experience, CI/CD, security practices, tooling, and shared platform capabilities. You will work across both frontend and backend disciplines and partner closely with Infrastructure on shared platform concerns. Success in this position requires strong technical judgment, clear prioritization, and the ability to communicate trade-offs across teams. In a globally distributed environment, you will help create scalable engineering practices while supporting a culture of coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
