Construction Safety Officer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Construction Safety Officer based in Canada. As a Construction Safety Officer, you will provide hands-on field leadership to promote safe, compliant, and efficient construction operations. You will work closely with project teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and site personnel to implement Health, Safety, and Environmental programs. The role focuses on preventing incidents through inspections, hazard assessments, education, corrective actions, and proactive safety planning. You will contribute to commercial, high-rise, and institutional construction projects where strong safety practices are essential to successful delivery. You will also support incident investigations, monitor safety trends, and ensure required documentation is accurate, complete, and accessible. Your expertise will help project teams interpret applicable regulations and translate safety requirements into practical site procedures.
