Associate Director, Safety

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Director, Safety based in the United States. This is a senior safety leadership opportunity supporting a growing, geographically dispersed organization across the United States. You’ll lead and develop a team of Regional Safety Managers while strengthening consistency, accountability, and execution across field safety programs. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on field engagement and direct oversight of safety operations. You’ll partner closely with operational leaders and senior leadership to integrate safety into project planning, field activities, and business decisions. The position is particularly suited to professionals with experience in utilities, infrastructure, electric transmission and distribution, power generation, or utility construction. You’ll have significant influence over safety strategy, performance, training, risk management, and continuous improvement. This is a remote U.S.-based position with approximately 50–75% travel, including frequent overnight travel.
