Senior BESS Inverter Performance Engineer

Our partner is looking for a Senior BESS Inverter Performance Engineer based in the United States. As a Senior BESS Inverter Performance Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the performance, reliability, and operational efficiency of utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will investigate complex inverter-related issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with technology vendors and engineering teams. Your work will involve evaluating software, firmware, control logic, hardware, and grid-related factors to ensure optimal system performance. You will also oversee retrofit implementation across multiple sites, monitoring deployment progress, validation results, risks, and resolution milestones. Working in a collaborative, innovation-driven renewable energy environment, you will partner with technical stakeholders to enhance system reliability and support continuous improvement.
