As a Product Manager - Electronic Shelf Labels, you will take ownership of the storeLink ESL roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer evidence and portfolio economics. The primary purpose of this role is to drive product evidence that converts early pilots into enterprise-wide rollouts while effectively reducing labor in high-effort store workflows. You will lead discovery efforts, define clear success criteria, and work collaboratively across engineering, UX, sales, and operations to ensure the delivery of a market-leading digital signage solution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead product discovery with engineering and UX teams, often directly in stores, to prove value and address viability risks before committing build capacity.
- Own the storeLink ESL roadmap and ESL unit economics, analyzing per-store costs, labor savings, and margins to evaluate retailer customization requests against portfolio-wide lifetime value.
- Design strategic pilots with explicit success and kill criteria, ensuring every major bet has a defined test date and stopping initiatives early when data requires a pivot.
- Partner with sales, operations, legal, and hardware teams to influence roadmap decisions, build pricing models, and coordinate installation and support at a chain scale.
- Cultivate high-trust relationships with retailers from initial pilot through long-term operation, positioning storeLink as the strongest, most labor-reducing ESL solution in the market.
- 4+ years of product management experience with Electronic Shelf Labels, including ownership of a product line accountable for critical business metrics like retention, conversion, or margin.
- Proven experience with hardware and software integrated products, IoT, or large-scale retail technology deployments involving enterprise customers and complex B2B deal cycles.
- Demonstrated track record of building unit economics and business cases, with the ability to confidently kill or pivot initiatives based on early data and stakeholder communication.
- Practical use of AI in daily workflows, with preferred experience shipping features built on machine learning, advanced statistics, or LLMs.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, pricing systems, POS integration, and planogram management, specifically within grocery, drug, dollar, or mass retailers.
