Your New Role - Location: 3800 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212 - Position: Full-Time, In-Person Dispatcher - Coordinate daily dispatch operations for residential HVAC service technicians and plumbers, assigning service calls based on location, availability, technician skills, and job priority. - Manage technician schedules and make real-time adjustments for emergency service calls, cancellations, delays, and last-minute appointments. - Answer inbound customer calls, schedule HVAC and plumbing service appointments, and deliver professional, responsive customer service. - Communicate work orders, customer details, appointment changes, and scheduling updates to field service technicians. - Keep homeowners informed about technician arrival windows, service delays, and appointment changes. - Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, schedule preventive maintenance visits, and follow up on customer service needs. - Use dispatching and field service management software to maintain accurate schedules, customer records, and service histories. - Coordinate with warehouse staff, vendors, and technicians to help ensure the right parts and equipment are available for scheduled jobs. - Review service invoices and job details for accuracy while assisting with outstanding customer balances. - Handle scheduling conflicts, urgent service requests, and customer concerns with professionalism and urgency. - Identify opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency, technician productivity, route coordination, and customer satisfaction. - Participate in a rotating on-call schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
