About the role

ComplianceSolidWorksCADElectrical EngineeringManufacturing
DDN provides high-performance data storage infrastructure for some of the world's most demanding AI and computing workloads. As the business grows, we're expanding into new markets and increasing production. Our Chatsworth manufacturing operation needs to keep pace, and that's where you come in. That means building products efficiently, getting the finishing details right and making sure we can ship to customers around the world without compliance issues getting in the way. We're hiring a Product & Compliance Engineer to help make that happen. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Working directly with our lead Manufacturing Engineer, you'll help improve how we manufacture our products while taking greater ownership of international regulatory compliance. - You'll troubleshoot production bottlenecks, reduce assembly and rework times, investigate component failures and manage engineering changes. - You'll also refine product packaging and presentation, oversee compliance requirements such as SABER for Saudi Arabia, and work across teams to prevent regulatory issues from delaying international shipments. - It's hands-on engineering with a clear purpose: better products, more efficient production and fewer barriers to getting them into customers' hands. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - A degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, plus 2–4 years' manufacturing engineering experience, ideally with electromechanical products. - Knowledge of international compliance standards such as SABER, CE, RoHS or REACH. - CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks, alongside an understanding of technical drawings and PLM systems. - A proactive, solutions-focused mindset. You spot problems early, challenge existing processes and drive improvements that deliver measurable results. - The ability to switch between hands-on manufacturing challenges and detailed compliance work, collaborating across teams to see problems through to resolution. WHY DDN? AI is moving into large-scale production, and the infrastructure behind it matters more than ever. DDN is right in the middle of that shift. You'll join a growing business, work closely with experienced engineering colleagues and have the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the products we build and how we deliver them globally. If you enjoy variety and want to see the direct impact of your engineering work, let's talk.
