Full service creative digital agency Job Description Are you an experienced SEO practitioner who can step into client work quickly and hand it off cleanly? We’re seeking a self-directed SEO and content contractor to support an agency Content team for three months while they onboard a new SEO Manager. About the Role - Hourly Rate: $70/hour (W2 role) - Contract Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of adjustment based on team needs - Location: Remote - Weekly hours: 10 to 20 hours/week; hours will flex and are expected to taper as work transitions to the new SEO Manager - Availability: Must be accessible between 10am and 2pm CT for check-ins and collaboration; flexible working arrangement outside those hoursCompany Description We are a digital marketing agency that puts people and optimism first, both for our clients and for the team that serves them. We’re bringing on a contractor to carry select client SEO work while we onboard a new SEO Manager, giving our team the room to learn our processes without juggling too many client deliverables at once. Job Description As our SEO and Content Contractor, you’ll own keyword research and SEO optimization across at least three client accounts in different industries. The work spans two tracks: improving the performance of existing pages and creating new content built to rank from the start. As our new SEO Manager gets up to speed, you’ll gradually transition this work to them, so clear documentation and a collaborative handoff are a core part of the role. Scope of Support: - Keyword Research: - Identify keyword opportunities aligned to each client’s content and service areas - SEO and AEO Optimization: - Optimize existing web pages for both SEO and AEO, including on-page SEO, metadata, internal linking, content gaps, and page structure - SEO Content Creation: - Write new SEO-driven content aligned to each client’s goals and brand voice - Documentation and Transition: - Keep work organized and documented so it hands off cleanly to the internal team - Partner with the incoming SEO Manager to transition accounts as they ramp upCurrent Client Accounts: - Construction client (Central Louisiana) - Mental health services client (Florida) - Plumbing client (Greater New Orleans area) - Demonstrated experience in SEO and keyword research, ideally in an agency or multi-client setting - Comfortable juggling several accounts across different industries and switching context cleanly - Strong SEO writing ability; able to produce content that reads well and performs - Familiarity with AEO (answer engine optimization) best practices - Self-directed and reliable, with clear communication and tidy documentation habits - Able to plug into an existing team and established processes quickly We Are Rosie provides strategic consulting and talent solutions for the marketing industry.
