YOUR ROLE You shape how fonio feels to use for thousands of businesses. You own core areas of our product end-to-end: from talking to customers, to designing the flow, to shipping it with our engineers. You're a hands-on designer with high craft and a lot of autonomy. You don't wait for perfect specs. You find the problem, design the solution and move fast. WHAT TO EXPECT - Own the design of core product areas end-to-end, in close collaboration with Product Engineering and our founders - Talk to customers regularly and turn insights into design decisions - Make complex functionality simple: solve complexity instead of designing it visibly - Shape and scale our product design system - Prototype fast with AI tools (Cursor, v0, Claude and others) to get from idea to testable flow in hours, not weeks - Use analytics to measure what works, and iterate WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Several years of experience as a product designer, ideally in a small, fast-moving product team (portfolio required) - Exceptional design craft: interaction detail, hierarchy, typography and motion - High autonomy: you take ownership without needing much structure - Experience with design systems and shipping features end-to-end - Product and analytics thinking: you don't design from your gut, you measure - AI-first mindset - Fluent English (any additional language is a plus, especially German (DACH is our most important market) WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive salary: €65,000–€90,000 - Equity - you're building this, so you should own a piece of it. - Food & drinks - lunch and dinner are on us - Relocation bonus (if you still need to move) - Equipment of your choice - whatever makes you happy.
