The candidate will be responsible for reviewing engineering drawings, design calculations, technical documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities - Prepare, review, and validate civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. - Conduct technical reviews of design submissions to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards. - Identify design discrepancies, technical issues, and potential risks, and recommend corrective actions. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. - Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. - Review design modifications and ensure proper incorporation of technical comments. - Support design optimization, value engineering, and resolution of technical queries. - Monitor design deliverables to ensure timely submission and adherence to project requirements. - Maintain design review records, technical reports, and documentation. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles and design review processes. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. - Working knowledge of relevant IS codes, IRC standards, or other applicable design codes, depending on the project. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with relevant civil engineering design software. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills. - Effective communication and coordination skills. Eligibility Criteria - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design, design checking, or technical review. - Experience in infrastructure, buildings, transportation, or other civil engineering projects, as applicable. - Ability to independently review technical deliverables and coordinate with design teams. Preferred Competencies - Attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality. - Ability to manage multiple design deliverables and meet deadlines. - Strong teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. M.
