Medical Assistant

Fast Paced, Dynamic and Friendly Dermatology Clinic looking for a Part time Medical Assistant to work alongside the Dermatologists in our Centerville clinic.  The Full-Time position is 38-40 hours per week. Typical schedules are 8-9 hour days (7:20am-4:45/5:00 pm) Monday-Fridays. This schedule may vary based on Clinic staffing requirements, Federal holidays and provider vacation schedules.  A medical assistant certificate is preferred but NOT required. CNAs are encouraged to apply for on-the-job training as a medical assistant. Previous work in the medical field is a requirement.  - Assist Physicians and other providers with examinations and surgical procedures  - Answer patient’s questions about medications and wound care  - Scribe and maintain patients’ medical records  - Assist in surgery and minor procedures  - Review medical history  - Return Patient Phone calls  - Clean and restock examination rooms  - Sterilize instruments  - Educate patients on and assist with cosmetic procedures  - Positive attitude  - Motivated Self-Starter  - Teamwork oriented  - Caring, compassionate and patient focused  - Punctual  - Enthusiasm and willingness to learn  - Experience working in the medical field All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
