ABOUT NINJATECH AI NinjaTech AI builds enterprise-grade agentic AI that runs inside our customer’s own environment. Founded in 2022 and backed by SRI International, DCVC, and Candou Ventures, we're a lean team with our headquarters in Los Altos, California and roughly half our engineering team in Sydney, Australia. We're building the AI agents that enterprises actually deploy — not demos. Our platform connects to 3,000+ systems, runs on-prem, in-VPC, or air-gapped, and delivers predictable economics that CFOs can live with. We move fast, we ship, and we don't hide behind process. If you want to define a category rather than inherit one, keep reading. THE ROLE This is our first marketing hire. You'll own marketing end to end — strategy and execution — and you'll be the person who builds the function from zero. There's no team to delegate to yet and no playbook to follow. You'll set the narrative, run the channels, and be the connective tissue between our product, our sales team, and the market. This is a builder's role. You'll write the positioning, launch the campaigns, pitch the press, run the ads, post the content, and then measure what worked and do more of it. As we grow, you'll help us decide what to hire next and how to structure the function. You'll report directly to the CEO and work side by side with our sales and engineering leads. WHAT YOU'LL OWN MESSAGING, POSITIONING & BRAND - Refine our narrative, ideal customer profile (ICP), buyer personas, and category positioning - Own the company's core messaging architecture and keep it consistent across the website, decks, demos, ads, and sales conversations - Translate deeply technical product capabilities into clear, compelling stories for enterprise buyers (CIOs, CTOs, heads of AI, security and procurement teams) - Build and maintain brand guidelines — voice, tone, visual identity, and editorial standards - Manage brand reputation and any crisis or issues communications PRODUCT MARKETING & LAUNCHES - Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches and feature releases, from positioning through launch day - Write launch briefs, FAQs, internal announcements, and enablement docs - Own product, solution, and use-case pages on the website DEMAND GENERATION & PERFORMANCE MARKETING - Own paid acquisition end to end: Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max) and other paid channels - Manage budgets, bids, and creative; optimize for qualified pipeline, not vanity clicks - Build and optimize landing pages and conversion paths - Own SEO strategy and execution — technical SEO, on-page, and content-led organic growth - Run email and lifecycle marketing: nurture sequences, newsletters, and lead scoring CONTENT & THOUGHT LEADERSHIP - Build and run our content engine: blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, one-pagers, and technical explainers - Produce content for every stage of the funnel, from top-of-funnel awareness to bottom-of-funnel sales enablement - Turn our founders' and engineers' expertise into published thought leadership - Own the editorial calendar and keep a steady cadence across channels PUBLIC RELATIONS & COMMUNICATIONS - Own PR strategy and media relations — build relationships with journalists covering enterprise AI and agentic AI - Write and pitch press releases, media pitches, and bylined articles - Manage awards, analyst briefings (Gartner, Forrester, Constellation), and industry recognition - Handle inbound press inquiries and coordinate executive interviews and speaking engagements SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY - Own all social channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and others) — strategy, calendar, and daily execution - Build an executive social presence for our founders and leadership - Grow and engage our community of enterprise AI practitioners and developers - Monitor social conversation, engage authentically, and manage our online reputation WEBSITE & DIGITAL PRESENCE - Own website conversion optimization — continuously test and improve landing pages, messaging, CTAs, user journeys, and other conversion points to increase qualified leads and pipeline - Work with design and engineering (internal or contract) to keep the site fast, current, and on-brand - Manage our marketing tech stack: CMS, analytics, marketing automation, CRM integration, and attribution SALES ENABLEMENT & REVENUE SUPPORT - Build the collateral our sales team needs: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, ROI models, and competitive battlecards - Partner with sales on repeatable sales plays and messaging that closes enterprise deals - Support ABM (account-based marketing) efforts against target enterprise accounts - Arm the team for security reviews, RFPs, and procurement conversations with the right materials EVENTS & FIELD MARKETING - Own our presence at conferences, trade shows, and industry events — from booth strategy to speaking slots - Plan and run our own webinars, roundtables, and executive dinners - Manage event logistics, budgets, and follow-up pipeline - Identify and pursue strategic speaking opportunities for the CEO at relevant industry conferences, panels, summits, and other high-value events to build thought leadership and visibility PARTNERSHIPS & CO-MARKETING - Identify and execute co-marketing opportunities with technology partners, integrators, and channel partners - Manage joint campaigns, webinars, and content with partners - Support partner enablement with co-branded materials ANALYTICS, REPORTING & OPERATIONS - Define the marketing KPIs that matter and report on them regularly to leadership - Own marketing analytics and attribution — know what's driving pipeline and revenue - Manage the marketing budget and allocate spend for maximum return - Build repeatable processes so the function can scale as we add people WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years in marketing, with meaningful experience as a generalist or early/founding marketer at a startup — you've done the work yourself, not just managed people who did - B2B and enterprise experience, ideally in SaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or AI. You understand long sales cycles, technical buyers, and enterprise procurement - A writer first. You can take a complex technical concept and make it land in a sentence.
