Our strategists help clients move beyond channel planning to deliver coordinated engagement across the full customer journey. The Associate Director, Omnichannel & Media Strategy will lead the development of omnichannel engagement strategies for assigned brands, products, and business challenges, grounded in a strong understanding of media strategy and how paid media connects across the broader customer experience. This role translates audience insights, customer needs, media behaviors, market dynamics, and business objectives into actionable journey architectures, media and channel strategies, and engagement plans that drive measurable outcomes. As a strategic leader, you will guide audience segmentation, customer journey development, media and channel planning, engagement strategy, and orchestration design while serving as a trusted strategic partner to clients and internal teams. You will collaborate across Media, Analytics, CRM, Creative, Engagement, and Client Services to create integrated experiences that connect customer needs with business goals. What you’ll do - Architect omnichannel engagement strategies with media strategy at the core, connecting paid media with owned, earned, CRM, field, and digital channels. - Lead audience segmentation, persona development and customer prioritization across healthcare professional, patient, caregiver and other relevant audiences. - Design end-to-end customer journeys that identify audience needs, barriers, behaviors, triggers and engagement opportunities. - Develop media and channel orchestration frameworks that define the role of paid media and connect it effectively across owned, earned, field, CRM, and digital touchpoints. - Lead client and internal workshops focused on audience strategy, journey design and engagement planning. - Define measurement frameworks, testing plans and strategic requirements for CRM, analytics and engagement platforms. - Translate client needs, market research, media and campaign performance, and audience insights into clear strategic recommendations for cross-functional teams. - Oversee supporting strategists, delegate work and review deliverables for strategic quality and consistency. - Contribute to scoping conversations and manage multiple client workstreams to established timelines and utilization expectations. This position is a perfect fit for you if - You are adaptable, resilient, and OK with adjusting your scope, responsibilities, and focus as we grow. When things change, so do we. We’re always evolving. - You are proactive, driven, and resourceful with strong prioritization skills and a desire to dive into the data. - You are highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines. What you should have - Demonstrated experience developing media strategy, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical marketing, or another highly regulated or complex industry. - Strong understanding of paid media strategy and how channels such as paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, and other digital media work together within an omnichannel ecosystem. - Experience leading client workshops, strategic planning sessions or collaborative working sessions. - Strong understanding of how paid media connects with owned channels, CRM, field engagement, content and digital experiences. - Ability to translate research, data, media performance and campaign results into strategic recommendations. - Experience overseeing junior strategists and providing feedback, training or quality review. - Strong client communication, presentation development and facilitation skills.
