Position Overview K18 is looking for a Temporary Recruiter to cover a teammate's maternity leave from Monday, January 4, 2027, through Friday, April 16, 2027. The right person genuinely loves recruiting and cares about giving every candidate a thoughtful, human experience. You'll partner closely with hiring managers across the company to understand what they need, then find, screen, and close the right talent. Responsibilities - Get up to speed quickly on open roles and build strong working relationships with hiring managers and the People team. - Manage the full recruiting cycle, from sourcing and screening through interviews and offers. - Run initial phone screens to understand each candidate's experience, values, and career goals. - Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams. - Find great candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and referrals. - Keep a steady flow of qualified candidates moving, including for niche or hard-to-fill roles. - Extend and negotiate offers, and help new hires have a smooth start. - Track hiring progress and share regular updates with hiring managers and the Director of People & Culture. - Keep candidate records accurate and up to date in Greenhouse. Skills & Qualifications - 3–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally including time in a fast-paced startup or agency environment. - Hands-on experience with Greenhouse ATS. - Experience recruiting for both technical roles (such as regulatory) and creative roles. - A knack for sourcing, including LinkedIn Recruiter and social recruiting. - Clear, warm communication and the ability to build trust quickly with candidates and hiring managers. - Comfort juggling multiple roles and shifting priorities, working both on your own and as part of a team. - A solid understanding of employment laws related to recruiting and hiring. Nice to have - Experience recruiting in the beauty industry. - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Compensation Pay rate: $41-$51 per hour, 40 hours per week This is a temporary, full-time maternity leave coverage position for a fixed term (January 4 – April 16, 2027), paid on an hourly basis. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes. Stay safe and protect your personal information.
