About the role

SEOCRMB2B SalesSocial Media
About Flipdish At Flipdish, we’re turning the tables in favour of independent restaurant and takeaway owners by offering them powerful, simple-to-use tech solutions backed by real human support. Everything we do is designed to make running a restaurant satisfyingly simple in a world that’s anything but. About the role You’ll join Flipdish’s Marketing team as a hands-on Performance Marketing Manager, owning the day-to-day execution and optimisation of paid acquisition campaigns across the UK and Ireland. This is an individual-contributor role for someone who enjoys being in the platforms, testing ideas and turning results into practical improvements. Meta will be your primary channel, with Google and ChatGPT as secondary channels. You’ll inherit an established Meta programme with a five-figure monthly media budget, with a clear mandate to protect what’s working while improving acquisition efficiency and lead quality. You’ll work closely with the VP of Marketing, who owns the wider growth strategy and approves channel priorities and major investment decisions. You’ll have autonomy to make day-to-day decisions within agreed budgets and priorities, alongside the opportunity to recommend new growth channels and run agreed experiments. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Commercial, Product, SEO/AEO, Social Media, Design and Videography, and PR and Brand. Our SEO/AEO specialist owns organic search and answer-engine optimisation; your focus will be making paid acquisition work effectively alongside that activity. Success means attracting suitable restaurant and takeaway operators and turning demand into qualified pipeline and signed customers—not just clicks or cheap leads. What you’ll own - Manage and optimise paid acquisition: Own day-to-day execution across the established Meta programme and the Google paid suite, and continue early-stage ChatGPT testing. Manage campaign setup, audiences, budget pacing, tracking checks and campaign hygiene, seeking approval for material investment changes. - Run disciplined experiments: Build a prioritised testing programme across creative, messaging, audiences, bidding and landing-page conversion. Define clear hypotheses and success measures, interpret results honestly, scale promising approaches and stop tests that do not deliver. - Explore new growth channels: Proactively bring the VP of Marketing practical recommendations supported by a clear rationale, test plan, proposed budget and success measures, then take ownership of agreed experiments. - Connect campaign performance to commercial outcomes: Work with Marketing, Commercial and Product colleagues to understand lead quality, pipeline progression and customer acquisition. Use CPL, cost per qualified lead, conversion rates and CAC where reliable data is available, maintain established dashboards and help resolve tracking or reporting gaps. - Develop effective creative and messaging: Translate customer insights and product benefits into briefs, ad hooks and copy, coordinating asset production and iteration with Design and Videography. Use AI and SaaS tools to accelerate research, routine work and creative variations while applying your own judgement. - Collaborate across teams: Partner with our SEO/AEO specialist on messaging, landing pages and search insights, with organic strategy and execution remaining with that specialist. Communicate results, priorities, blockers and recommended next steps clearly. - Challenge poor decisions and propose better ways of working. Constructive challenge is a responsibility — prioritising harmony over truth or progress is a failure of responsibility. What success looks like - The established Meta programme maintains or improves acquisition efficiency while generating suitable leads and signed customers across the UK and Ireland. - Lead quality and funnel conversion improve, with campaign decisions guided by qualified pipeline and customer acquisition outcomes rather than clicks or low-cost leads alone. - A focused testing programme produces clear learning, identifies approaches worth scaling and stops ineffective activity. - Campaign messaging and creative reflect customer needs and product benefits, supported by effective collaboration across Marketing, Commercial and Product. - Performance reporting clearly explains results, measurement gaps and recommended actions, supporting timely channel and investment decisions. About you You’ll thrive in this role if you: - Have 5+ years’ experience in paid media or performance marketing, with evidence of hands-on campaign ownership and measurable results. - Bring strong Meta expertise at meaningful spend levels and are comfortable working directly in the account or through supporting AI tools. - Have an essential paid media portfolio showcasing campaigns you personally worked on, the work you’re proudest of and your strongest commercial returns. You can explain your contribution, testing approach and results, and showcase current live Meta ads through the Meta Ads Library. - Have hands-on experience using the Google paid suite to generate demand and acquire customers, with the ability to recommend, test and optimise campaigns against lead quality and commercial outcomes. - Understand UK or Irish audiences and can adapt messaging to their commercial and cultural context. - Bring sound commercial judgement, understanding lead quality, pipeline conversion and customer acquisition economics—and why a lower CPL does not always mean a better result. - Are curious and proactive about new growth opportunities, turning ideas into practical, prioritised experiments with clear success measures. - Are confident using dashboards and platform data to diagnose performance, interpret results and recommend what should change. - Can write effective creative briefs and ad copy, collaborate constructively with designers and work alongside an SEO/AEO specialist. - Take ownership of reliable execution, communicate clearly and know when to act independently and when to escalate. The following would help you stand out: - Experience in B2B SaaS, restaurant technology or marketing to small business owners. - Familiarity with CRM data and connecting paid campaigns to qualified pipeline and customer outcomes. - Experience improving landing-page conversion. - Practical use of AI tools or automation to save time on reporting, monitoring or creative iteration. What you get We’re a growing startup and we understand that amazing incentives will attract amazing talent. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer unparalleled opportunities for career growth. If you’re smart, ambitious, and hard-working, we’ll do whatever it takes to make you a Flipdisher! - Hub model (hybrid): A healthy blend of hub and home working, with two days per week from our Sandyford office. - Time off: 25 days’ annual leave, plus public holidays and company days, such as seasonal Summer Fridays. - Private healthcare: Irish cover provided through Laya Healthcare. - Pension: Retirement savings support in Ireland. - Team connection: Regular team meet-ups and company events. - Commuter supports: TaxSaver / travel schemes, where available. We want to see the work you’re proud of, the commercial impact you’ve delivered and how you’re testing today. - Before your interview: Share your portfolio and Meta Ads Library links to the relevant brand or advertiser pages for campaigns you currently work on. We’ll review the live ads before meeting you. - At your interview: Walk us through the campaigns you’re most proud of and those that generated the strongest returns. Explain the objective, your personal contribution, the creative and targeting approach, budget context, results and the decisions that improved performance. - Show us your current testing: Use live examples from the Meta Ads Library to explain the hypotheses behind your creative variations, what you’re learning and what you would test next. - Evidence the impact: Support your examples with results you’re permitted to share, such as ROAS, CAC, qualified pipeline or customer acquisition outcomes, including the measurement period and how results were attributed. The Ads Library provides the public creative examples; performance and testing outcomes should be explained separately.
