How Do You Help a Business Prepare for What Comes Next?
ILIAS Solutions, part of Patria, is growing internationally. Our customers depend on our software to manage complex defence operations, making reliable delivery and long-term partnerships part of our responsibility.
To support this growth, we are developing our Delivery organization, building an international partner ecosystem, and expanding the ILIAS Academy. Commercial teams are opening new markets and developing customer relationships.
As teams become more connected across countries, functions, and partners, the way we organize work and lead people must evolve as well.
This is where HR plays an important role.
As HR Business Partner, you work closely with Operations and Commercial leaders to understand their direction, anticipate organizational challenges, and help prepare their teams for what comes next.

Meaningful Work
See What's Coming. Help Shape What's Next.
Growth brings opportunities, but also questions that are not always immediately visible.
Who takes responsibility when teams work across different functions? Are managers prepared to lead in a matrix organization? Do employees have the skills and opportunities to grow with the business?
Answering these questions starts with understanding how ILIAS operates, what customers expect, and how decisions in one area affect another.
The HR Business Partner brings that understanding into conversations with leaders. Not simply to respond to existing HR questions, but to recognize what needs attention before it becomes a problem.
Managers remain responsible for their teams. HR helps them make informed decisions, develop their people, and build an organization capable of delivering on its commitments.
Turn Business Understanding Into HR Action
Working across Operations and Commercial, you will:
- Partner with leaders to anticipate the people and organizational implications of their business plans.
- Advise on organizational design, leadership responsibilities, and collaboration across the matrix.
- Translate future requirements into workforce planning and capability development.
- Guide performance management, including objectives, feedback, evaluations, and development plans.
- Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and internal mobility.
- Support compensation, reward, and performance calibration processes.
- Advise on employee relations, HR policies, and organizational change.
- Use business information and people analytics to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Challenge assumptions and help leaders take ownership of their people decisions.
- Connect Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations, and other specialists with business priorities.

- The confidence to ask difficult questions, challenge assumptions, and offer practical recommendations.

- Native-level proficiency in Dutch is required, along with professional fluency in English.Knowledge of Belgian employment legislation is an advantage.
The preferred location is Diegem, Belgium, with the Netherlands also possible.
