About Easyship:
Easyship is one of the world’s leading multi-carrier shipping software, built to make global eCommerce borderless. Since 2014, we’ve been on a mission to democratise logistics by removing the “black box” of international shipping costs and complexities. Trusted by over 100,000 brands, our platform provides a single “mission control” for global trade, offering access to 550+ courier services across 200+ destinations.
We are an award-winning, global team (Forbes 30 Under 30, TechInAsia’s Best Startup) with offices in London, New York, Hong Kong, and beyond. We’re growing fast, we value transparency, and we genuinely enjoy building the infrastructure that powers modern commerce. If you’re ready to solve complex problems at scale, we’d love to have you join us.
Who We’re Looking For:
As we move upmarket, more of our enterprise customers and strategic partners are integrating with Easyship through our API, custom apps, and tailored builds. We’re looking for a Solutions Developer to be the builder, advisor, and architect behind those integrations. You’ll design, build, test, and support complex technical solutions, and you’ll recommend one clear approach where there are several options. This is a hands-on technical role. You’ll work closely with our Technical Implementation Lead, who owns the customer relationship through implementation. You’ll sit in our Implementation Services team, within Client Services.
What would you be responsible for:
- Designing the technical architecture for each implementation: data flows, endpoints, webhooks, authentication, and data mapping.
- Advising on the Statement of Work (SoW), estimating build effort, and assessing change requests, so every build starts from a realistic scope and timeline.
- Building solutions to the agreed scope where Easyship does the build work, or guiding and troubleshooting the customer’s developers where they build it themselves.
- Reproducing and resolving complex technical issues in Postman or Insomnia, and finding the root cause in requests, responses, and logs.
- Supporting testing, user acceptance, go-live, and volume migration, and fixing issues quickly.
- Producing clear technical documentation for handover to the CSM and Customer Support.
- Providing ongoing support for custom builds within agreed support terms.
- Designing reusable, productised solutions where a build could serve multiple customers, and working with Product and Engineering to bring them into the core product.
- Supporting the API requirements of our largest strategic partner, from routing and rate changes to labels, customs data, and bug fixes.
- Maintaining the team’s developer tools, staging environments, and documentation, and assisting Product and Engineering with building and testing new APIs where needed.
- Building reusable components, code samples, and integration guides that make future implementations faster.
You Might Be a Good Fit If:
- You have 5+ years in software development, integration engineering, or solutions engineering, including building customer-facing integrations.
- You have expert, hands-on command of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns, including authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, SSO, API keys).
- You write production-quality code in a language such as Python or JavaScript.
- You’ve designed integration architecture that handles error handling, retries, rate limits, and idempotency.
- You’re fluent with JSON, data mapping, and SQL, and confident using Postman or Insomnia.
- You follow sound engineering practice: Git, automated testing, code review, and secure handling of credentials.
- You understand how eCommerce platforms, ERPs, and warehouse systems integrate with shipping services.
- You’re confident working with customer developer teams and explaining technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You estimate accurately, deliver several builds at once, and raise change requests instead of quietly absorbing scope.
- You use AI effectively: you review agent-generated work and translate it into plain language.
- Bonus: logistics or eCommerce experience; building reusable integrations within a product engineering team; Shopify, Squarespace, Celigo, or Zapier implementations; prior Easyship experience.
What we bring to the table as an employer:
- Generous remuneration and stock units
- We reimburse gym and wellness expenses so you can invest in your health
- The freedom to ‘Work from Anywhere’ for 4 weeks in a year
- Generous vacation policy, plus duvet days and mental health days to truly recharge
How we value inclusion in our recruitment practices:

We make all employment decisions—recruiting, hiring, pay, benefits, training, promotion, leave, and separation—based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, disability, national or ethnic origin, veteran or military status, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
