We're on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated, Physiotherapist to join our team in Hamilton! About the role Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day. Community Rehabilitation Services - Provide rehabilitation and support to individuals within their community - Work within a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their rehab goals - Knowledge of community services pathways - Experience writing high-quality reports and justifying clinical reasoningPhysiotherapy Services - Experience in musculoskeletal, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation - Experience in delivering gym-based, home-based, and functional rehabilitation programs - Skilled in assessing movement patterns and progressing strength and mobilityAged Care - Mobility and Transfer Assessments: Carrying out assessments for new residents in both Hospital-Level Care and Rest Home units. - Collaboration with the Physiotherapy Assistant: Work closely with the Physiotherapy Assistant, offering guidance on how they can provide ongoing support and regular input to residents in line with the mobility and maintenance goals. - Ongoing Support for Hospital-Level Residents: Closely monitor the mobility needs of each resident admitted under Hospital-Level Care, to help maintain their functional abilities, and recommend updates to care plans when needed. - Manual Handling Training: Delivery of training sessions to care and auxiliary staff, as requested by the facility, to ensure safe and effective manual handling practices. - Create, plan, monitor, and progress rehabilitation programmes tailored to the needs and goals of older adults in an aged care settingWhat you’ll do - Use your clinical expertise to support clients in homes, workplaces, and communities - no two days are the same - Deliver care that aligns with our strong internal focus on excellence and outcomes - Be part of a high-performing, supportive team that values collaboration, growth, and innovationWhat you’ll bring - A drive to make a difference and deliver outstanding care - High-level clinical reasoning and adaptability across a spectrum of client needs - A commitment to continuous learning and professional development - Proven ability to deliver client-centred rehabilitation in community - Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders - At least 2 years’ experience working within vocational rehabilitation and community rehabilitation servicesWhat’s in it for you - A competitive salary package - 5 weeks of annual leave to support your work-life alignment - A vehicle for business and personal use - APC reimbursementFor the full job description or more information, please reach out to Roz, Talent Coordinator, [email protected].
