About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Crisis Worker based in the United States. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ young people by providing compassionate, life-affirming crisis support to those who need someone to listen. As a Crisis Worker, you will deliver suicide prevention and crisis intervention services through text, chat, and/or phone-based support channels. You will help young people navigate emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, and challenges related to sexual orientation and gender identity in a safe, supportive environment. Working within a collaborative team of trained counselors and experienced leaders, you will provide empathetic, confidential, and culturally responsive support. The role combines direct crisis counseling with essential administrative responsibilities to ensure consistent, high-quality service. You will contribute to a mission-driven environment that values inclusion, integrity, continuous learning, and the well-being of both young people and staff. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for individuals who are resilient, attentive, and passionate about making a lasting impact.
