Our partner is looking for a Contractor - Mechanical Engineer 4 (NSSS Vessels & Structures) based in the United States. As a Mechanical Engineer 4 specializing in Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) vessels and structures, you will perform advanced design and stress analyses for pressure vessels and primary equipment supports used in modular advanced light water reactor systems. You will apply your expertise in finite element analysis and nuclear engineering standards to ensure component integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will evaluate pressure, mechanical, and thermal loads while optimizing component designs. You will also provide technical leadership, mentor fellow engineers, and help resolve complex engineering challenges. Your work will follow rigorous nuclear quality assurance requirements and applicable U.S. regulatory guidelines. This fully remote contract opportunity is expected to continue through 2027, offering experienced engineers the chance to contribute to technically demanding nuclear engineering projects.
