Associate Director, Development

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Director, Development based in India. The Associate Director, Development will play a key role in strengthening fundraising operations and ensuring the quality of donor-facing communications across Africa. This leadership position combines strategic pipeline management, exceptional writing and editing, donor engagement, and team development within a mission-driven global health organization. You will oversee proposals, pitches, reports, and other fundraising deliverables, ensuring that every communication reflects program impact, financial accuracy, and funder expectations. Working closely with program, finance, and communications teams, you will transform complex data into compelling narratives that build trust and support long-term partnerships. You will also mentor a small, culturally diverse team, contribute to global development strategy, and represent the organization in external engagements.
