Logistics Administrator

Help keep our apples moving. Coordinate stock. Make an impact. At Mr Apple, our coolstore operation plays a critical role in delivering premium fruit to customers around the world. We're looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our Hastings Coolstore team and help ensure product is accurately tracked, stored and ready for the next stage of its journey. Working closely with the Logistics & Operations Manager and wider operations team, you'll combine administration, inventory coordination and on-floor collaboration to keep product flow running smoothly. This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility and the opportunity to learn across logistics, quality and coolstore operations. What You'll Be Doing: You'll be at the centre of product movement and inventory coordination, ensuring information is accurate and operations stay on track. • Coordinate stock movements and storage locations within the coolstore • Create and manage work orders and inventory records • Monitor product receivals, stock accuracy and system integrity • Support quality inspections, labelling activities and post-packing requirements • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damaged product and inventory issues • Maintain operational reporting, data requests and administration activities • Collaborate with quality, operations, sales and logistics teams • Support continuous improvement initiatives and site projects What You'll Bring: We're looking for someone organised, detail-focused and confident working with systems and data. • Administration experience and computer literacy • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Confidence working with inventory or stock management systems • A proactive attitude and willingness to spend time both in the office and on the coolstore floor • Previous logistics, inventory, warehousing or supply chain experience is advantageous but not essential What We Offer: • Friendly, collaborative team culture where people enjoy what they do • Variety across office-based administration and operational support activities • Opportunity to develop logistics and inventory management expertise If you're looking for a role where organisation, accuracy and teamwork make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
