Job description:
Metalprogetti (textiles) Specialist
CRDN Midwest | Omaha, NE | Full Time
About CRDN Midwest
CRDN Midwest is a full contents restoration company. When a fire, flood, or other loss hits a home or business, we’re the team that cleans, restores, and protects what matters most to our customers. Our vision is to be the leading provider of responsive, trusted, high quality restoration services, and we get there through teamwork, customer service, communication, a positive attitude, and empathy.
About the Role
The Metalprogetti Specialist runs our automated garment conveyor and storage system. You’ll scan, store, track, and retrieve customer garments so every item is accounted for from the moment it comes in to the moment it goes home. You’ll also handle rack reporting in SPOT, keep the system running safely, and become the go-to expert who helps train the rest of the team.
If you like precision, take pride in keeping things organized, and enjoy being the person who knows exactly where everything is, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Operate the Metalprogetti automated system to scan, load, and retrieve garments accurately
- Retrieve garments for staging and delivery
- Put away and rescan items when they’re removed from the system
- Run and audit rack reports in SPOT to keep inventory accurate and complete
- Verify that scanning matches production requirements
- Troubleshoot minor system errors and escalate larger issues right away
- Perform weekly safety checks and basic machine maintenance
- Keep automated racks and scanning areas clean, organized, and functional
- Share recurring errors or workflow issues with leadership and suggest improvements
- Train and support teammates on Metalprogetti procedures and safety
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable learning new software and scanning technology
- Clear communicator who speaks up when something isn’t right
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently once trained
- Team player who’s willing to help train others
- Experience with dry cleaning or laundry conveyor systems, warehouse inventory, or barcode scanning is a plus, but we’ll train the right person
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Reach, bend, and handle garments repeatedly throughout the shift
What You Can Expect From Us
A full training plan built to set you up for success. Your first 30 days are about learning the system, SPOT, and safety basics alongside experienced staff. By 60 days you’ll be running operations on your own, and by 90 days you’ll be the recognized expert helping us improve how the system runs.
Let’s restore what matters most, together.
