Operations Leader – Houma Region Company: PCMS Location: Houma, Louisiana Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Primarily evening and nighttime hours with some weekend flexibility Travel: Regular travel throughout Houma, Morgan City, Raceland, Lockport, Thibodaux, and surrounding areas Position Summary PCMS is seeking a dependable and experienced Operations Leader to oversee multiple facilities throughout the Houma region. This position will be based primarily in Houma and will require regular travel to Morgan City and other surrounding locations. The Operations Leader will ensure that every assigned facility is properly staffed, professionally maintained, and consistently prepared for white-glove inspections. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, comfortable leading employees across multiple locations, and able to address operational concerns quickly. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily cleaning operations at multiple facilities throughout the region - Ensure all assigned facilities remain white-glove inspection ready - Conduct routine facility inspections and document findings - Follow up promptly on client concerns and cleaning deficiencies - Coordinate staffing, employee coverage, and schedule adjustments - Respond to call-outs and help resolve urgent coverage needs - Train, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance - Verify that employees follow approved cleaning schedules and assigned areas - Monitor employee attendance, clock-ins, clock-outs, and productivity - Ensure employees use the correct chemicals, equipment, and cleaning procedures - Identify supply and equipment needs before they affect operations - Maintain consistent communication with PCMS leadership, facility supervisors, employees, and clients - Submit required reports, inspection results, and operational updates on time - Assist with special cleaning projects and other operational needs - Travel between Houma, Morgan City, Raceland, Lockport, Thibodaux, and other assigned locations Qualifications - Previous leadership, supervisory, operations, janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred - Experience managing employees across multiple locations is strongly preferred - Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions - Ability to manage several facilities and priorities simultaneously - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required - Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region - Availability to work evening or nighttime hours and respond to occasional weekend needs - Ability to use email, Microsoft Teams, spreadsheets, and mobile applications - Ability to pass all required pre-employment screening Physical Requirements - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods - Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, and perform cleaning-related tasks when operational assistance is needed - Ability to lift cleaning supplies and equipment safely What We Are Looking For We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining excellent facilities, builds strong relationships with employees and clients, and does not wait for problems to become complaints.
