Shape the Future of Electromagnetic Warfare and Multi-Domain Operations
Your operational experience matters. Put it to work shaping the next generation of warfighting capabilities.
Advanced Strategic Insight, Inc. (ASI) is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare / Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EW/EMSO) Subject Matter Expert to help advance the integration of electromagnetic warfare, cyber, space, intelligence, and kinetic capabilities into modern military operations.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO), EW/EMSO operator, or operational mission-planning professional to move beyond traditional mission execution and directly influence how the Joint Force plans, synchronizes, and employs integrated effects across multiple domains.
If you've operated in complex electromagnetic environments, supported Air Operations Center (AOC) missions, or helped integrate non-kinetic capabilities into operational plans, ASI wants to put your expertise at the center of tomorrow's warfighting solutions.
Why Join Team ASI?
At ASI, we recognize that operational expertise is essential to developing capabilities that work in real-world mission environments.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Influence Future Operations: Help shape how the Joint Force integrates electromagnetic warfare and non-kinetic effects into operational planning and execution.
- Apply Your Operational Experience: Bring lessons learned from real-world missions, exercises, and operational headquarters into emerging warfighting capabilities.
- Work Across Mission Domains: Collaborate with experts in electronic warfare, cyber, space, intelligence, targeting, and advanced operational planning.
- Advance Emerging Technologies: Contribute to machine-aided planning, decision-support capabilities, effects synchronization, and dynamic mission replanning.
- Engage with Mission Leaders: Work alongside military, government, operational, and technical stakeholders tackling complex national defense challenges.
- Make a Meaningful Impact: Join a mission-focused team where your expertise helps strengthen warfighter effectiveness and decision advantage.
What You'll Do
As ASI's EW/EMSO SME, you'll serve as a trusted operational advisor supporting the development, integration, and assessment of cross-domain and non-kinetic capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Integrate EW/EMSO Capabilities: Apply operational expertise to incorporate electromagnetic warfare capabilities into mission planning, targeting, operational design, and execution.
- Synchronize Multi-Domain Effects: Help integrate EW/EMSO with cyber, space, intelligence, information-related capabilities, Special Technical Operations (STO), and kinetic effects.
- Support AOC and Joint Operations: Leverage operational headquarters experience to improve planning, tasking, execution, and assessment processes.
- Advance Operational Planning: Contribute to deliberate and dynamic targeting, course-of-action development, effects synchronization, and rapid mission replanning.
- Shape Emerging Capabilities: Support the development and evaluation of machine-aided planning and decision-support technologies.
- Assess Operational Effectiveness: Develop approaches to evaluating non-kinetic and cross-domain effects during exercises, experimentation, and operational activities.
- Collaborate Across the Joint Force: Coordinate with operational, technical, intelligence, acquisition, and mission-partner organizations.
- Advise Decision-Makers: Deliver operational assessments, briefings, recommendations, and concepts to government and senior-level stakeholders.
- Support Exercises and Experimentation: Participate in wargaming, demonstrations, operational assessments, and integration activities.
- Occasional travel may be required based on mission needs.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a seasoned operational professional who understands both the complexity of the electromagnetic battlespace and the importance of integrating effects across multiple domains.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of operational experience in Electronic Warfare, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, or a closely related operational discipline.
- Qualified or previously qualified as an Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) or equivalent EW/EMSO practitioner.
- Operational experience associated with the EC-130, EA-37B, EA-18G Growler, or comparable joint or Service EW/EMSO platforms, organizations, or mission sets.
- Experience integrating EW/EMSO capabilities with cyber, space, intelligence, information-related capabilities, or kinetic effects.
- Experience supporting operational planning, targeting, mission execution, or operational design within an Air Operations Center (AOC), Joint Task Force, Component Operations Center, or comparable operational headquarters.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple operational and technical communities.
- Eligibility for a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
What Will Set You Apart
We are especially interested in candidates who bring advanced tactical expertise, operational leadership, or experience integrating non-kinetic effects into complex mission environments.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Graduate of the USAF Weapons School or equivalent advanced tactics, operational planning, or warfighting education.
- Experience serving as a Non-Kinetic Duty Officer (NKDO), CROW, ZOMBIE, or equivalent cross-functional operational position.
- Experience integrating electromagnetic warfare, cyber, space, and other non-kinetic capabilities into deliberate or dynamic targeting.
- Experience supporting Special Technical Operations (STO) and cross-domain effects integration.
- Experience transitioning between deliberate planning and dynamic operational execution.
- Familiarity with machine-aided planning, decision-support tools, course-of-action development, or rapid mission replanning.
- Experience in joint, coalition, or multi-Service operational environments.
- Ability to communicate complex operational concepts and recommendations to senior military and government leaders.
Don't check every preferred qualification? If you bring strong EW/EMSO operational experience and understand how to integrate capabilities across the battlespace, we encourage you to apply.
