Manager, Payroll

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Payroll based in Canada. We are seeking an experienced payroll leader to oversee Canadian payroll and tax operations across multiple business entities, supporting approximately 800 employees. This role combines operational leadership, regulatory compliance, tax governance, and continuous process improvement in a complex, multi-province environment. You will strengthen internal controls, standardize procedures, and ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and business continuity. Working closely with HR teams, external service providers, and senior leadership, you will drive system improvements, audits, integrations, and other strategic initiatives. You will also mentor payroll team members, develop best practices, and help ensure consistent, high-quality service across the organization.
