Cheese Specialist (Cheesemonger) - Eataly West Palm

A Cheesemonger has passion for cheese and the ability to share that passion with Eataly’s guests. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager. - Assists guests with cheese selection and shares knowledge of products - Weighs, labels and packages products and completes food preparation in a timely manner - Ensures counter and display refrigerators neatly and accurately as per the pricing menu, and promptly informs management when food quantities or supplies are low - Merchandizes displays attractively and rotates products per quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards  - Cleans work station thoroughly - Performs other duties as required or assigned - Excellent communication skills - Basic math skills - Basic knife skills - Knowledge of cheese highly preferred - High school diploma or equivalent preferredJob Requirements - Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting - Ability to use commercial equipment including scales, packaging machinery and a cash registerthe hourly rate for this role: $20.00 Benefits and Perks - Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance - Paid Time Off - Paid Parental Leave - 401K with match or RRSP - Bonus program - Free family meal daily - Discounts at Eataly - Classes on products and Italian cuisine - Referral bonus program - and more!
